A precursor project to OPTOMICS, project INNODERM through which the RSOM was developed was chosen to receive the European Commission’s 2021 ECS Innovation Award. On 24 November 2021, at the annual European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems (EFECS) meeting, Coordinator Prof. Vasilis Ntziachristos accepted the award on behalf of the consortium and gave a short presentation on the major achievements of the project. INNODERM was Coordinated by OPTOMICS Coordinator, TUM, and is honored to recieve the award. Many thanks go to the EU Horizo2020 and Photonics 21 programs, and the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDeA). We look forward to continuing to push the envelope in developing healthcare solutions for the global community through project OPTOMICS.
