The 8th Helmholtz Diabetes Conference was held from May 10-12, 2021, in a virtual format. During the meeting, Prof. Eleftheria Zeggini gave the keynote lecture, titled “Next generation association studies of cardiometabolic traits,” in which she discussed the OPTOMICS project and its aims to push the boundaries of diabetes healthcare.
